Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Onsite
Pay Rate: $77.64/hr.
Start/End Dates: 9/1/2026 - 8/31/2027
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support New Product development projects by:
* Leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
* Developing custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
* Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents
* Creating prints for components used for product repair
* Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection / FAI of product components
* Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Job requires an understanding and application of engineering knowledge. This role typically requires a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience with a minimum of 2 or more years of experience. The duration of this contract is a minimum of 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Key Qualifications
* Fluent in reading prints (components, custom fixtures, etc.)
* Strong writing and documentation skills
* Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment
* Experience supporting manufacturing lines
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
* Strong ability to independently problem-solve (technical and non-technical)
* LabView/TestStand experience a plus
* Medical device experience a plus
Must haves:
- Experience with building and testing fixtures and equipment
- Experience authoring manufacturing documents
- Candidate should be able to efficiently manage supporting multiple projects and able to independently problem solve

- LabVIEW or TestStand experience

Education:
- Preferred - Bachelor of Science in engineer or equivalent
